Roads, Highways & Public Areas 

The Highway Department performs diverse duties maintaining township public areas including:

• Administering township parks
• Cleaning storm inlets
• Disposing of fallen / dangerous trees on township roads and public areas
• Maintaining landscape throughout the municipality
• Performing general maintenance for all township equipment / property, including automotive, township buildings, and grounds
• Removing snow from township streets and roads
• Repairing township roads, potholes, and curbs
• Replacing / repairing traffic signs, signals, and lights under control of local jurisdiction
