The Bethel Township Sewer Authority is an independent authority permitted under Pennsylvania law and governed by the Pennnsylvania Municipality Authorities Act. The primary duties of the authority are to operate, maintain, repair, and construct a public sanitary system within the township.
Any problems concerning sanitary sewer manholes, sewer lines, or pumping stations should be reported immediately to the Bethel Township Sewer Authority at (610) 358-5893. If the emergency occurs after regular business hours, please report problems to Aqua Wastewater Management Inc. at 1-877 987 2782, or (610) 525-1402.
Please note: If there is a problem with your plumbing or the sewer system in your yard, you should contact your plumber first.
The Sewer Authority is governed by a board of five members, which make up the Sewer Authority Board. Revenue is generated by the imposition of rental fees and other assessments.
